Everything that happens between the floor plan and your signature
doWired is not a drawing editor with an estimate bolted on. It is one model of the installation, and every document falls out of it already calculated. Module by module, here is what that model actually does.
Modules
Six modules, one model of the installation
Each one builds on what the previous one left behind. No export to a spreadsheet and no import back.
Reading the plan
Upload a PDF, a DWG or a photo. doWired finds walls, openings and scale, and whatever it misses you draw in with the wall tool. Calibrate the scale with one reference line, a door width will do.
Points and equipment
Sockets, lighting points, appliances and smart home devices come from the catalogue. Every item knows its load, its mounting height and the rail space it will take in the board.
Circuits and phases
doWired proposes how points map to circuits and spreads them across three phases. Change whatever you see fit; the circuit table recalculates loads and phase balance as you go.
Cable routes
Route cables by hand or let the automatic router do it, following wall axes the way real cables run. Circuit length comes from the route you drew, not from a rate per square metre.
Distribution board
Circuits turn into a DIN rail layout: device selection, module widths, phase balance and collision checks. The supply structure becomes a single-line diagram.
Documentation and estimate
Technical description, circuit table, diagram, bill of materials and an estimate with markups. All from the current state of the project, so no version drifts away from the drawing.
What comes out
The files you take with you
Every export is assembled from the current state of the project. There is no "export it and then fix it by hand" step.
- A PDF with the full pack: title page, technical description, circuit table, single-line diagram, bill of materials and estimate
- An XLSX with the circuit table and the bill of materials, ready for your own spreadsheet
- A CSV for your stock system or for the wholesaler
- DWG and DXF with the installation drawing, to open in your own CAD
